The Douglas Corporation has agreed to pay $1.37 million through a natural resource damages settlement agreement for its role in contaminating three metro area lakes with “forever chemicals," the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Department of Natural Resources said Wednesday.
State officials say a Twin Cities company will pay $1.375 million in a settlement over the alleged release of so-called “forever chemicals” that reached three lakes.
Douglas Corporation agreed to a $1.375 million settlement with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for damage to lakes caused by "forever chemicals", according to a news release from state agencies.
