The council plans another public hearing on the budget June 1, and a final public hearing and vote to adopt the $1.65 billion budget June 8. The City just approved more money to get rid of those dangers before it’s too late. “There s a term in forestry called the widow-maker. They would fall on the lumberjacks and foresters and unfortunately, kill them,” said Martin Nature Park Naturalist Will Hagenbuck.
