About Merck More Than a Mother campaign Merck More Than a Mother is a strong movement that aims to empower infertile women through access to information, education and change of mind-sets. This powerful campaign supports governments in defining policies to enhance access to regulated, safe, effective and equitable fertility care solutions. It defines interventions to break the stigma around infertile women and raises awareness about infertility prevention, management and male infertility. In partnership with African First Ladies, Ministries of Health, Information, Education & Gender, academia, policymakers, International fertility societies, media and art, the initiative also provides training for fertility specialists and embryologists to build and advance fertility care capacity in Africa and developing countries.
National Security Officer who killed NDC agent and injured policeman thrown into custody
The trigger-happy man, whose gunshots at the Ablekuma Central Constituency Collation Centre in the just-ended elections, leading to the death of one Ibrahim Abass, a polling agent of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been thrown into police custody by an Accra Circuit Court.
The accused, Collins Kwaku, alias Kola, per his lawyer, Faisal Cisse is employed as a National Security Officer at the Operations Department of the Office of the President, Jubilee House manned by ex-National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lord Commey, but currently the Director of Operations at the Presidency.

th December 2020, the people of Ablekuma Central Constituency voted massively to give John Dramani Mahama and Parliamentary Candidate Abdul Latif Dan a resounding victory in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the constituency, the victory did not come on a silver platter but through the hard work of the MP elect, constituency executives and all party members who contributed in diverse ways before, during and after the elections to ensure that the party wins the constituency.
Even though the voting process was smooth, the incidence at the collation centre later in the day nearly marred the process.
