time for our next guests to join us. mike, i got to tell you. i was surprised he went back to phony scandal thing. there s some smoke there, isn t there? judge judy wrote a book called don t pee on my leg and tell me it s raining. that s what president obama sounds like. one thing about the president, he never appears desperate or he hasn t over most of these six years. he s starting to sound desperate. desperate to pretend that benghazi is a phony scandal. desperate to pretend the irs two years of missing e-mails is a phony scandal. no question republicans smell blood in the water. i get political optics of it. to call it a phony scandal is phony on his part. what about fast and furious? the va wait list scandal. reporter snooping scandal. that has been under the umbrella of phony scandals. republicans want everything to be a scandal. benghazi is not a scandal. it was a tragedy. the irs isn t is scandal.
because very often substantial people don t want to run for government office anymore because of all the hassles of it. and we have mediocre people taking positions where they can affect the lives of 300 million people. i mean, whether you believe in obama care or don t, that s the law right now. let s get moving, folks. whatever uh your position is on it, that s what the public voted for at a particular time in our history. so that s what we have now. we have to work around that. that being said, i think that the government today is too big. and the government has forgotten its vision that it is there to serve the public. you write in this book which i love so much don t pee on my leg and tell me it s raining. you talk about shifting from personal responsibility to government responsibility we ex expect too much from our government. absolutely right.
