HMC to launch three new mobile blood donation units soon  25 Jul 2021 - 9:14 Fazeena Saleem/ The Peninsula Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC)’s Qatar Blood Services will soon launch three new mobile units to further increase the blood availability in the country.  The new mobile units will be launched as part of preparations for international events including the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.  “The new mobile blood donation units will be well-equipped and have more capacity to collect and store blood,” HMC’s Blood Donor Center Medical Manager Seddiqa Al Mahmoodi said.  She also said that HMC Blood Donor Centre has achieved many laurels in its pursuit of excellence and is working hard for the future.
