I think ive shopped pretty sure in every shop on fillmore so im not going to talk about the merchant ive a big fan its a really rich neighborhood. Im the neighborhood that principal scott talked about whos been helping on the school level. My children go to a different school. And its family liaison is a neighbor of mine ive known 10 years. Shes talked about a lot of the pain theyve had in the community. And i felt very strongly that something needed to change. As a person i can only give my time so i decided seeing what was happening at the school theyve had 4 principles in 5 years i met with the principle and say how can i help you achieve what you want to accomplish. Shes the first time principal her mother was a teacher and she has a lot of hope for the children but we didnt have a lot of money. So we talked about the wish list how can i give my teachers room to be creative so rag on bone fell into the conversation. I happen to know todd through different channels and im very grate
The fillmore to giving the store to Community Events and doing all kinds of other things. There was at least three or 5 commitments from that company who came out from new york and stood here selling the community all the wonderful things they were doing. And from what i hear, nothing has remained active. I go to the fillmore frequently and i dont see any minority being trained or present in that particular store when i go in there i mostly leave because i cannot interact with the sales people. It doesnt work for me. Everything is over 600 anyway, even if i want to look, i have to get out of there.
