The Selected Airline Operators (SAOs) under UDAN are obligated to commence RCS flight operations on an RCS-route within a period of six months from the issuance of Letter of Award or within two months from the readiness of airport, whichever is later unless any extension is granted by the Implementing Agency.

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Civil Aviation has identified 24 routes in Assam under the first Phase of UDAN-4.0. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is the implementing agency.
The AAI has also identified a number of UDAN airports, heliports, and water aerodromes for operation of the UDAN flights in Assam. This information was given in a written reply by Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State (I/C) Civil Aviation, in the

The Nifty50 or the National Stock Exchange was trading at 14,875.10, higher by 85.15 points or 0.58 percent from its previous close. Nifty index opened flattish and some profit booking decline could be seen in the initial hour. But the bulls took the intraday dip as a buying opportunity and pulled the index above 14850 levels, said Jay Purohit, Technical & Derivatives Analyst, MOFSL.
