NEWTON, NJ The Newton Police Department’s former Chief, Robert Osborn’s son Trey, has decided to participate with his fraternity brothers in the Ability Experience: Journey of Hope.
Trey, a student at Virginia Tech and member of Pi Kappa Phi, will participate in the experience which helps “spread a message of disability awareness,” according to the mission statement.
He will undertake a journey that includes 7,000 miles of cycling. There are two routes that will kick off on the west coast starting on June 10. Two teams will spend the summer crossing the country until they reach their destination of Capital Lawn in Washington, DC on August 14.
