The Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District (TLMFPD) and the Donald Wescott Fire Protection District (DWFPD) have agreed to combine services and form the Monument Fire District.
The two fire districts serving the Monument area will merge operations in January and expect to unify in the coming years to save money and better serve the community.
