NEW PHILADELPHIA Judy Veigel lost her son. Brittany Meese lost her brother. Cody Fox Quillen lost his cousin. And two boys, ages 4 and 6, lost the uncle who used to get down on the floor to wrestle with them when Donald Donnie Fox-Miller died in a fire last year.
The 31-year-old Uhrichsville man responsible for starting that fire will be incarcerated for at least 10 years for killing 26-year-old Fox-Miller of Dennison.
Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Judge Elizabeth Lehigh Thomakos sentenced Michael A. Lynch on Monday for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Fox-Miller. He died in the fire Lynch started by setting a lighter to gasoline inside a garage.

NEW PHILADELPHIA A murder trial that was to start Wednesday has been delayed.
The trial of Michael A. Lynch will be rescheduled by Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Judge Elizabeth Lehigh Thomakos.
Lynch, 31, is charged in connection with the May 16 death of Donald Fox-Miller, 26, as a result of a fire in a garage on Grant Street in Dennison.
The Uhrichsville man has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and four counts of aggravated arson, each relating to one person who was inside the building. Fox-Miller’s mother and sister suffered minor injuries. His cousinrother was inside the structure as well.
