NEW PHILADELPHIA Judy Veigel lost her son. Brittany Meese lost her brother. Cody Fox Quillen lost his cousin. And two boys, ages 4 and 6, lost the uncle who used to get down on the floor to wrestle with them when Donald Donnie Fox-Miller died in a fire last year.
The 31-year-old Uhrichsville man responsible for starting that fire will be incarcerated for at least 10 years for killing 26-year-old Fox-Miller of Dennison.
Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Judge Elizabeth Lehigh Thomakos sentenced Michael A. Lynch on Monday for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Fox-Miller. He died in the fire Lynch started by setting a lighter to gasoline inside a garage.
