Arlene Mae (Thompson) Rapp, 85, of Duluth, MN, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18 at her home while under St. Luke’s Home Hospice care. Arlene was born on April 5, 1936 to Hans and Mildred Thompson, the eldest of two children. She grew up in West Duluth attending Fairmount, West Junior and topping off her public education at Denfeld High School, where she was elected Honor Queen of her graduating class of 1954. In 1957 Arlene married Burleigh K. Rapp. They were blessed with five beautiful children:
