understand that nixon s abuse of powers were a threat. we if you look through history, you hook at how slowly we were to realize the problem with world war ii. it s just something inherent about a democracy that doesn t move quickly. so, people are watching this, and they re wondering, well, maybe this is just a an idiosyncratic event and it ll all right itself, and go away. the posse will come in and take care of it that s not going to happen. we are the posse. we got to take care of it and so, you know, this isn t right. and trump is not hiding what he has in mind. john, mike pence s former chief of staff, mark short he was with pence on the capitol, um, during the capitol attack. he participated in the critical white house meeting this was on january 4th. and we are talking about a top aide here. is this a good sign that the committee will get the full picture of trump s pressure campaign, even if pence doesn t testify?

$160 billion. that doesn t move quickly. unfortunately, zero people not one some say one, by our count zero people have been held accountable. wait times are no better today than they were were a year ago. vet veterans have a card but they re not allowed to use it. there is no accountability. there is no culture change. without the culture change you won t see an environment of customer service that veterans deserve. can you tell us why secretary mcdonald came in president obama this is someone who is going to take a fresh look. has the bureaucracy won? i think so. we had a hope he would be the guy to turn things around. he s become a v.a. appallgist than we would want. ripping the scab off and saying here are all the problems here s how we re going to fix them and
that they take has to be different. you heard tim makris say it, that it can t be the same thing that has done in the past because it hasn t worked. it hasn t worked. so the policy debate may move quickly, but we all know that legislation does not move quickly. and we know that government doesn t move quickly. and we know that culture and societal change probably well, not probably, moves much slower than that. it s glacial. so there may be quick moves in legislation here. there may be quick policy announcements or quick policy stances taken by lots of different people. but we re talking what this group is talking about is change
