The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) has reported a concerning rise in the concentration of fine particulate matter PM2.5 and PM10 during Diwali, with an increase of 45 percent and 33 percent respectively compared to the previous year. The analysis indicates a significant deterioration in air quality, underscoring the environmental impact of the festival.
