India s diesel consumption in the first half of December rebounded from a decline in November, attributed to transporters taking a Diwali break. Preliminary data from state-owned firms revealed that diesel consumption reached 3.15 million tonnes from December 1 to 15, a 0.7% increase compared to the first half of November but still 8.1% lower than the same period in 2022.
