Good morning supervisors. I am jeff sheea and living with hiv and i was the hiv advocate to gavin newsom and serve on the governing board on the California Institute of regenerative medicine. Thank you supervisor wieners and supervisor campos for sponsoring this meeting and thank you supervisor farrell for the opportunity to present today and thank you Barbara Garcia and the department of Public Health and i am part of the consortium and were here to talk about the historic opportunity for San Francisco, ground zero in 1981 at the beginning of the aids epideppic to be the first mutiny of injury new infections, zero deaths from hiv and zero stig ma. This is a realistic goal for several reasons. Commissioners. I am senior personnel analysts in the Operations Division at San Francisco general and karen hill my boss wasnt able to be here today so i am here in her stead reporting on great things we have been doing at our department. I came on board a year ago so i am brandnew to the city with new eyes and was able to we just have been getting together a lot. What you see in the slide is nursing, administration, merit systems, and ron and us there talking about our productivity. We look at our productivity every single day, how many packets were receiving, how much were putting out the other door getting done with hiring, and we also are actively problem solving so as barriers arise our partners are there with us and we immediately take it up and if theres a solution we can implement that day we do it. To just keep packets moving quickly keep getting the highest qualified candidates in the door and thats what we thats our primary interest so we have been working very hard and the

Audience and commissioners, good evening. Good evening. Very briefly, im here today to honor a new path to bring more exposure to this commission. We have a couple writers in the crowd, the San Francisco examiner, at times report what happens here at the commission but do it impartially or do it partially instead of reporting everything that takes place, rart fr report what they feel they should write about. Im going to give you a copy out of the San Francisco examiner where breed picks city hall, the new shift, and i wish you luck. But also an article written by jonah owen lamb, a writer of the examiner who wrote on last Weeks Commission hearing and left out information inadvertantly to make his article more palatable or more pasteurized foertd public at large.
