A Larksville man is facing statutory sexual assault solicitation charges alleging he tried seducing a teenage boy he met online.
Thomas Patrick Atchue, 48, of 65 Third St., is accused of befriending a 15-year-old boy on the dating app Grindr and trying to arrange a sexual meetup.
According to charges filed by Luzerne County detectives, the teen reported that a man contacted him on the app in July, trying to arrange a sexual meeting.
The pair set up a meeting in Wilkes-Barre on July 20, and the victim provided police a video showing Atchue showing up for the meeting â although he denied it was to meet a 15-year-old, according to the complaint.
