Previously, she was elected public advocate for the city of new york on the first woman of color to hold citywide office. She has served as a watchdog over new york City Government agencies and advocate for the most vulnerable communities. Her office passed numerous legislation including round baking law that banned questions about Salary History in the employment process. She successfully pushed the Largest Pension Fund to invest in ammunition retailers and fought in court on behalf of children and families. They are people that you hand a algorithm and ask this question and we should be able to bring in the information that we need. This is dangerous.
