Patrick lets get to it. Today i am going to talk with thomas schwartz, the director of the Herbert Hoover president ial library. He has been with the Hoover Library since 2011 and before that he served as the illinois , state historian and went on to lincoln collection at the Abraham Lincoln president ial library as an author and editor, his work recognized with a number of professional awards. He will take a step back in time, not all the way back to lincoln, but to the time of Herbert Hoover. Tom, are you there . I want to make sure we can hear you. Are you with us . How are you doing today . Obviously the library is closed. How is everyone doing . Thomas the staff is doing well. They are eager to return on a regular basis and we are eager to be able to safely reopen to the public when the opportunity avails itself, but i appreciate the opportunity. Patrick great. At the Roosevelt Library, we completed a full redo of our permanent exhibit in 2013. And joining me today to discuss how these projects are done is clay bauske, the supervisory curator at the Harry S Truman president ial museum in missouri. Clay and his team are in the final stages of redoing their permanent exhibit. Where do things stand right now and what is your projected opening date for the new permanent exhibit . Clay we are probably within two months of having the new exhibits done and ready to open. The big question with all the libraries is when will the libraries actually open to the public. We are not really sure about that, but the work on our new permanent exhibits we are within two months of being done. Herman so the exhibits are being installed as we speak . Clay yes. Essentially all of the general construction in our museum we went in and had contractors literally rip out everything in the museum and start from scratch.
