A low-pressure area that has developed over the South Andaman Sea is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm and make its way to the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha shores early next week, officials said.
"The low-pressure area will move northwest and intensify into a depression in the next 48 hours. However, some time is required for analysing the data before providing details on the possible path of the system," the weather office said.
