Dr Randeep Guleria said, "We should prepare and hope that things are not as bad as in the United Kingdom. We need more data on Omicron. Whenever there is a surge in cases in other parts of the world, we need to monitor it closely and be prepared for any eventuality."
AIIMS chief issues warning amid rising Omicron cases in India - The number of Omicron cases is increasing each day in India, following which AIIMS Chief Dr Randeep Guleria has issued a chilling warning.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 vaccines can be "tweaked" to provide protection against new variants of the virus, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, Director Dr Randeep Guleria said.
