Adair County SB40 announced Andrew Ryan Pickett as the April recipient of the monthly Spotlight Award for his outstanding performance as an employee of Burger King in Kirksville. Andrew was nominated by Rose Padget with CVA/CHS.
Adair County SB40 announced that Joseph Smith of Kirksville has been selected to receive the October 2023 Spotlight Award for his long-time work as a loyal employee in the community and for his community volunteerism. Smith was nominated for this award by his Adair County SB40 Service Coordinator, Laura Morrow and Chariton Valley Association/CHS Program Director, Linda Bowers.
Hannah Montgomery, 13-year-old daughter of Chris and Paula Montgomery in Memphis, Mo., has been selected as the Adair County SB40 August 2023 Spotlight Award recipient for Kids Inclusion.
Adair County SB40 announced that Greg Steele of Gorin, has been selected as the July 2023 Spotlight Award recipient for his entrepreneurship. Steele started his own successful business, Steele Skull Mounts, several years ago where he offers skull cleaning and mounting services.
On Monday, June 26, Sodexo employees Joseph Smith, David Horton and Jamie Edmonson joined Adair County SB40 staff to present John Stewart, general manager of Sodexo, with the June 2023 Community Partnership Spotlight Award. Sodexo, which provides dining services for Truman State University, was voted by the Adair County SB40 staff for the Community Partnership Spotlight Award in June 2023.
