CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Authorities have arrested and charged two people in connection with a shooting in Waynesboro over the weekend that sent a person to the hospital.
The police department says officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 800 block of Grayson Avenue Sunday, February 7. A silver Dodge Charger was suspected with being involved in the shooting, which officers saw and a pursuit ensued.
Authorities say multiple people bailed out of the Charger during the pursuit, though officers gave chase on foot.

Two arrests have been made in connection to a Waynesboro shooting and vehicle chase in the 800 block of Grayson Avenue on Sunday.
Ailem Rosales-Rodriguez, a 25-year-old resident of Harrisonburg, VA. Rosales-Rodriguez was charged with felony eluding and distribution of Marijuana. She is currently being held at Middle River Regional Jail without bond.
Dionte Conrad Barbour, a 29-year-old male, was arrested on several charges related to this investigation including: falsely identifying himself to law enforcement, destruction of property, and Illegally entering the property of another to damage.
Barbour was also arrested on several unrelated warrants from Charlottesville and is currently being held at Middle River Regional Jail without bond.
