with dan steve maneesh and for trade and negotiation. great to have you guys tonight. this just crossed a wire just moments ago while we were a commercial break that the chinese finance ministry is saying that if we hope that the u.s. are going to take concrete action to grade a favorable environment for economic trade and ties between china and u.s. and what is your reaction to that and the attempt that janet yellen is making here in china? they tried to get whatever they can. frankly, i m confused about when the ministrations trying to do because they are sending them an john kerry over, the most pro-china group members of the administration and air pleading for diminishment of attention with the chinese, and as same time there point sanctions on. the chinese think that we are trying to obtain them, but we re not doing it effectively, especially on the military side, and we are in a serious
the grand parents get into their 80s like joe biden is and you can see the diminishment of their cognition in realtime which is what we are seeing with joe biden. i just don t there s any real parent out there or grand parent who is being honest that would let them drive their children on the interstate in a major american city to go somewhere. the reason i bring that up as example if you would not let him drive your kids on the interstate somewhere why in the world is he in charge of making the most important decisions in the world? and here s the thing, lawrence. every day he s getting worse there. are some things where somebody can be heard. i think john fetterman is a disaster in the senate for possible but it s possible his cognition could get period because he s only in his 50s. he would recover from that stroke. things are only going to get worse for joe biden chsz why it s unacceptable in my opinion for him to be president now.
is this just like a moment in time that captured this softening of support for him. but it is note worthy because for eight years, nearly eight years, we ve been asking this question is anything ever going to change donald trump s numbers? i don t think this is a screaming headline in some way of donald trump has lost his grip. he hasn t. but this is new. we haven t seen this kind of even little bit of diminishment. i want to not lose sight of an interview that donald trump did last night with bret baier on fox news. this particular part is relevant to the conversation. suburban women. he asked donald trump about suburban women. listen to his response. i usually make up all the difference in the election. and so to the female independent voter in the suburbs who struggled with family financing because of inflation, she s now against biden, disapproves of biden, but wasn t with you in 2020 and so far is a hard no for you in 2024, but what do you say
year 2023? the southern baptist convention made their position on women in ministry clear a long time ago. with the baptist faith and message that they adopted in 2000 saying that the office of pastor is limited to men. but this move this year and what s happened with both churches as well as the first vote to pass an amendment, which would expel fellowship churches which have women serving as pastors of any kind, this is a further diminishment and devaluing of women across the convention. and it s a part of as you say a battle of denominational politics. as people who are in power are trying to stay in power and to use women as the site of their battle. so this convention or this constitutional amendment you were just talking about to only allow men to serve as pastors, they actually will need to vote against next year for it to go into effect.
