According to NDTV, this was done to “punish” the contractor for not having the drains cleaned properly. Visuals of the incident have gone viral on social media. Lande is seen asking the contractor to sit on the road multiple times. As he sits, someone else pushes the contractor. The MLA is then seen telling two other men to pour garbage and slush over the contractor.
