Before the World Environment Day, under the Environment Education Program of the Ministry of Environment, Government of India, various programs are being organized by the Environment Planning Coordination Organization (EPCO), Bhopal, from May 26 to June 5.

Research based policies and schemes are being made in Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, monitoring and evaluation of the schemes is also being done on the basis of research. This work is being done jointly by the State NITI Aayog and the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy
