AMERICANS are being warned not to travel to Ireland due to a very high level of Covid-19 in the country .
The US State Department is easing travel advisories for dozens of countries but Ireland remains at the Do Not Travel level - the highest alert level.

They said: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 4 Travel Health Notice for Ireland due to Covid-19, indicating a very high level of Covid-19 in the country. There are restrictions in place affecting US citizen entry into Ireland.
People travelling from America to Ireland no longer have to stay in mandatory quarantine after their arrival here.

ALL workers in Ireland are set to have sick pay rights from next year under new legislation.
Employers will have to provide a set number of days per year from 2022 onwards.

Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar will bring his proposals for the new law to Cabinet later today.
According to the Irish Times, it will be a number of years before the statutory sick pay scheme is fully in operation.
The new bill aims to give workers a minimum level of protection.
