DIMAPUR The Kohima District Cricket Association (KDCA) has inducted a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2023-2026. The new team will be headed by Mengu Sakhrie as president, Kikrusetuo Angami (vice president), Keneilhouzo Sekhose (general secretary), Lhouvivor Mebu (joint secretary) and Vikuonyo Solo (treasurer), an update stated. Diethonguzo Miachieo, the outgoing president welcomed the members of the registered clubs and the invitees. He stressed that the governance of the game demands a professional approach. Mengu Sakhrie, the newly inducted president of KDCA, said that all stakeholders shall be taken into confidence and that nothing but the love of the game cricket shall motivate them to achieve what they had set out for.

NU conducts poster making contest DIMAPUR As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ Nagaland University organised a poster making competition in all the four campuses on Wednesday on the theme ‘Life and Environment.’ An update from NU stated that a total of 60 students have participated in the competition. The competition was coordinated by Prof. Amod Sharma (Medziphema campus), Dr. Rashmi (Kohima campus), Ramesh Singh (Dimapur campus) and Ashish Kumar (Lumami campus). It added that the winners would be awarded on May 5.
