And i spoke to a friend who is a neurosurgeon, and he has done it twice in his career, and it was for people who have been institutionalized basically in straight jackets for their whole lives in psychiatric hospitals. This particular surgery is incredibly effective for a particular type of mental illness. So the two patients he told me about were able to leave the psychiatric hospital, get high school college, masters degrees and live in the thing that lives.
