Pretty hard to watch. You see just how close a bystander gets and actually is hit by one of the cars. Another incident happened in richmond where two people were arrested as a result of hitting a Police Officer. Take a look. Richmond police are calling this weekends sideshows a flash mob of reckless driving. One richmond officer was hit straight on by a car while trying to break one up. This video released today by richmond pd shows the driver mowing over the officer, an eightyear veteran on the force who suffered serious injuries. Investigators say the suspects car was found abandoned a few hours later. The owner reported it stolen out of South San Francisco, but police later discovered the owner was actually the suspect. Investigators arrested 18year old juan vargas and genesis diaz castaneda, both from the central valley. Our pd traffic investigators went to South San Francisco and arrested both of them.
