senator stevens and his family, and we just landed at the airportanchorage, alaska, named after senator stevens who is the senator who originally wrote the legislation for alaska to be a state. one of the interesting things that we have learned also is that he had a fear of flying. he said it is a job hazard of being a politician in alaska, because there are so many remote locations here and not good roads and the only way to get around. his first wife died in a plane crash back in the 1970s, and during an interview in the late 1970s he expressed fears that the same thing might happen to him. he called it an occupational hazard and unfortunately, that is what happened tonight, wolf. you want to be in politics in alasklask alaska, you have to fly. all right. thank you. we will check in with chad myers our meteorologist who has been studying the area where the plane crashed. what have you found out, chad?
