New Delhi: The Delhi Police have arrested a person in connection with the violence at Red Fort during the farmers tractor parade on Republic Day.
The arrested person has been identified as Dharmendra Singh Harman who was seen in video footage at Red Fort on January 26 when the violence broke out.
The police are also ascertaining his role in the hoisting of a religious flag at the Red Fort. They are also scanning the dump data to know how many people were active at the time of the Red Fort violence.

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested one man in connection with the unfurling of a religious flag at the Red Fort on January 26. The arrested man has been identified as Dharmendra Singh Harman. Harman is accused of being involved in the raising the Nishan Sahib (religious flag of Sikhs) at the Red Fort amid violent clashes between farmers and police during the tractor rally in the national capital.
Dharmendra Singh Harman was doing live on Facebook when religious flag was hoisted at Red Fort. He has been charged for instigating the mob.

A Sikh religious flag was raised at the Red Fort amid violence over the farmers tractor rally

One person has been arrested for the raising of a Sikh religious flag - later identified as the Nishan Sahib - at the Red Fort last week, amid violent clashes between farmers and police during the tractor rally held in Delhi on Republic Day.
The arrested individual has been identified as Dharmendra Singh Harman.
Earlier on Wednesday the police also released photographs of 12 suspects, who were identified after review of security footage. The people in the photos are seen holding sticks or lathis and the police believe they were involved in the violence at the Red Fort or in attacking police personnel.

The city police on Wednesday announced cash reward of ₹1 lakh for information that can lead to the arrest of actor Deep Sidhu and three others in connection with the Red Fort incident on Republic Day.
Cash reward of ₹50,000 each was also announced for Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Jajbir Singh and Iqbal Singh for allegedly instigating protesters, the police said.
Flag hoisting
The reward of ₹1 lakh was announced on Sidhu, Jugraj Singh, Gurjot Singh and Gurjant Singh who hoisted flags at the Red Fort or involved in the act, according to police.
