Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered that a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) be evolved for the comprehensive land resurvey for the surveyor level up to the Joint Collectors to ensure that the exercise is smooth and foolproof.
He also wanted the mobile tribunals to have follow an SOP to handle the public grievances properly.

Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to create awareness, give training, and conduct tests to improve the efficiency of Village/ Ward Secretariat staff on Comprehensive Land Survey.
During a review meeting on YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhoomi Hakku-Bhoomi Rakshana scheme held here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said tests should be conducted at regular intervals to improve knowledge and efficiency among staff on issues related to Comprehensive survey so that their work will be efficient and they can serve people better.
He said the new colonies to be built for the poor should be included in the survey and should be taken into account in the preparation of maps and added that every house in the colonies should be given an unique ID. ‘Survey of India roped in for its effective implementation’
Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Dharmana Krishna Das on Tuesday said the government had allocated ₹1,000 crore to solve the contentious land issues and steer clear of the litigations.
Speaking at the function organised to distribute house site pattas at the ZP High School in Vedurukuppam mandal of Gangadhara Nellore constituency in Chittoor district, Mr. Krishna Das said the resurvey of lands would help the government stay ahead of times and ensure transparency.
“The government has tied up with the Survey of India for implementing the project in an effective manner,” he said.
