Self-operating kiosk at youth festival catches the eye
Here’s a self-operating kiosk that enables one access the server and take the printout of any of the identity cards recognised by the government.
The kiosk was on display at ‘Prerana’, the two-day district-level Youth Festival 2021 organised at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering campus that ended on Wednesday. Touted as the first-ever event, it aims at all-round development of youth in Chittoor district. Developed by Sai Ram’s Innomations India Private Limited, having Tirupati as its headquarters, the kiosk received laurels from MLC Y. Srinivasulu Reddy and District Collector Bharat Narayana Gupta during its inauguration.

TTD holds high-level review meeting on the festival
The TTD has resolved to organise the procession of Lord Malayappa on seven different vahanams on Ratha Saptami day on February 19. The processions will be organised along the ‘mada streets’ encircling the sacred shrine.
A decision to this effect was taken at a high-level review meeting chaired by Executive Officer K.S. Jawahar Reddy on Monday at the administrative buildings in Tirupati.
The meeting was attended among others by District Collector Bharat Narayana Gupta, Additional EO A.V. Dharma Reddy, and CVSO Gopinath Jatti.
‘Survey of India roped in for its effective implementation’
Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Dharmana Krishna Das on Tuesday said the government had allocated ₹1,000 crore to solve the contentious land issues and steer clear of the litigations.
Speaking at the function organised to distribute house site pattas at the ZP High School in Vedurukuppam mandal of Gangadhara Nellore constituency in Chittoor district, Mr. Krishna Das said the resurvey of lands would help the government stay ahead of times and ensure transparency.
“The government has tied up with the Survey of India for implementing the project in an effective manner,” he said.

The sleepy little village of Urandur, tucked away from Tirupati-Srikalahasti State highway, resembled a beehive of activity over the last few days with the arrival of officials and ruling party leaders in droves.
Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to visit the village on December 28 for the State government’s flagship programme of distributing house site pattas to the eligible poor, where he will also address a massive public meeting. Srikalahasti legislator B. Madhusudhana Reddy, Collector Bharat Narayana Gupta, Joint Collectors V. Veerabrahmam (Development) and S. Rajasekhar (Welfare) and other officials inspected the helipad proposed to be developed near this village.
