VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that the government will complete construction of houses by 2022 and provide houses to all eligible persons without fail. He made the remarks after Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the annual PMAY (Urban), Asha India awards during a video conference to lay the foundation stone for six lighthouse projects under GHTC (Global Housing Technology Challenge) -India and distribution of PMAY- urban and ASHA - India awards virtually here on Friday in which Reddy and other Chief Ministers participated.

Vizianagaram: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the pylon for YSR Jagananna Colony at Gunkalam near here on Wednesday, which is the largest layout across the State and reiterated that the government is not just constructing houses but building towns for the future.
Addressing a public meeting, the Chief Minister stated that the government had fulfilled 95 percent of the poll promises, including the housing for poor. He said that the market value of the plot in Gunkalam is worth of Rs 3 lakh, which will increase to Rs 6-7 lakhs after completing the construction of houses and other basic infrastructure. All these houses are being given free of cost to the beneficiaries, with the sole intention to create an asset for the poor families. In Vizianagaram, the layout is spread across 400 acres housing about 12301 families.

VIJAYAWADA: The mega task of a comprehensive resurvey of lands after 100 years will be launched across all 13 districts and is aimed at resolving land-related disputes and objections.
The resurvey will be carried under YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku-Bhu Raksha scheme and would spread over 1.26 lakh sq kms across the state. As many as 17,000 villages would be covered in three phases. People are hoping for an end to land disputes and upgraded land records.

Coinciding with his birthday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has laid the survey stone at Takkellapadu village near here to launch the comprehensive land resurvey under YSR Jagananna Shaswata Bhu Hakku Bhu Rakshana programme under which every inch of land will be surveyed scientifically using modern technology and give a conclusive title deed to the rightful owner.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, the exercise is being taken up after 100 hundred years and is a historic event as the survey will check land grabbing and ease the registration, sale resale, transfer and other transactions which will hereafter be done at the Village Secretariat level and a clear deed will be given after the survey and social audit to the rightful owner.

It will ensure speedy resolution of land disputes, says CM
Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the State-wide comprehensive land resurvey under YSR Saswatha Bhu Hakku - Bhu Raksha scheme by fixing a marking stone at Takkellapadu village in Jaggaiahpet mandal of Krishna district on Monday.
Addressing a public meeting at Jaggaiahpet later, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy said no other State dared to undertake such a massive land survey project but the Andhra Pradesh government took the bold step of re-surveying lands which were last mapped almost a century ago.
