An urgent police search has been launched for a man wanted over the death of a nine-month-old baby whose body was found in his mother s home.
Andrew Campbell, 41, has not come forward to Queensland police despite previous appeals for him to turn himself to authorities over the alleged murder of Ipswich baby Dexter Wilton.
The nine-month-old was found dead from alleged neglect and mistreatment lasting a period of days in his mother s Sonter Street Raceview home in June last year by paramedics.

A mother has been charged with the murder of her nine-month-old son, while police have called for the woman s partner to come forward to assist in their investigation.

His mother Natalie Whitehead has been charged with murder after his death, which detectives allege was caused by neglect over a period of several days.
