One vehicle accident
LOGANTON The driver of a 2003 BMW X5 was not injured in a one vehicle crash along Interstate 80 in Greene Township on Jan. 1, state police at Lamar said.
Gerell Shepard, 31, of Cresson, Pa., was traveling west in the left lane near mile marker 186 when he hit the brakes and lost control of the vehicle, police said.
The vehicle crossed the right lane, traveled off of the northern side of the road and continued about 20 feet before striking an embankment, police said.
Shepard’s vehicle continued, spinning clockwise before coming to a stop, police said.
DUI alleged
LOCK HAVEN Mike Stover, 48, of Lock Haven, was charged with driving under the influence after state police at Lamar found him asleep behind the wheel of a running 2003 BMW at 204 Woodward Ave., Woodward Township.
