Covid19. There are 265 coronavirus deaths in the state. And 11th staff member tested positive at San Franciscos laguna honda hospital and increases the total to 14. The governor said california delivered more than 41 million n95 masks to Health Care Providers statewide. Now, Governor Newsom announced today that labs across the state are beginning to catch up with the enormous backlog of unprocessed covid19 tests. The state among the worst in the nation with 59,000 people waiting for their test results. 13,000 are waiting for results, so we have substantially reduced that backlog. A lot of that had to do with the commercial labs stepping up and we congratulate them for their good work. Newsom ams announced a new task force to help ramp up testing in california. He said that stanford has developed a blood test for covid19.
