WEST PLAINS, MO – Beginning March 28, the City of West Plains and Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) began road construction near Kentucky Ave. City and MoDOT officials say the construction will reroute traffic near Ozarks Healthcare's main campus for approximately 60 days. When coming from the south towards Kentucky, drivers will be detoured from Broadway Ave. to Utah Ave., from Utah Ave. to 6th St., and from 6th St. to Ozarks Healthcare main entrance. Kentucky Ave. will still provide access to the Burton Creek Rural Clinic and West Vue Apartment Complex. The entrance to Ozarks Healthcare's Emergency Department at 1100 N. Kentucky Ave. will not be affected by construction. Kentucky Ave. north of Ozarks Healthcare's main campus will also not be affected. Ozarks Healthcare recommends patients use the 8th St. entrance going north on Hwy. 63 or off of Porter Wagoner Blvd. beside the large 'H.' "The health and safety of our patients are our number
