Some ideas for what to do with your stimulus money

Emma and Cory Behnken had a plan for their latest stimulus check from the federal government. They wanted to give the money back to the local community. So while Bravo Espresso employee Andrew Meissner was helping another customer, Emma Behnken slid a $600 check on the counter and walked away.
Meissner was floored . . . and admittedly misty-eyed by the gesture. The Behnkens are longtime customers of the downtown coffee shop and said they were simply following Meissner s example. He had posted on Facebook that he was giving back by buying from local businesses.

At the same time, DMC Economic Development Agency Executive Director Lisa Clarke said meeting the first five-year DMC targets has put Rochester in a position of strength.
