Violence versus nonviolence. You know . It has been an issue with the police here. It has been an issue within the movement sometimes perhaps. And it is something that, something that we need to address as a movement. One year ago today, police and occupy supporters clash as Law Enforcement moved in to clear out an encampment outside oakland city hall. Arresting nearly 100 people. That raid was followed by angry demonstrations, said to protest economic injustice and police brutality. Today, occupy supporters say theyre here to celebrate the quote, rebirth of the movement.
