The 2021 NFL Draft is in the books, and the four teams in the NFC North believe they are better today, thanks to the new infusion of young talent via this year s draft.
Now that the dust has settled on the draft, let s take a look at who Detroit, Chicago, Minnesota and Green Bay added to their roster and how it might impact the division moving forward:
DETROIT
Draft picks: Rd 1 – OT Penei Sewell (Oregon), Rd 2 – DT Levi Onwuzurike (Washington), Rd 3 – DT Alim McNeill (NC State), Rd 3 – CB Ifeatu Melifonwu (Syracuse), Rd 4 – WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (USC), Rd 4 – LB Derrick Barnes (Purdue), Rd 7 – RB Jermar Jefferson (Oregon State)

The Giants came into the NFL Draft with two obvious needs: Edge rusher and offensive line. Two of their stronger position groups: Wide receiver and cornerback.
Fittingly, the Giants drafted one edge rusher, wide receiver and cornerback through three rounds, and no offensive linemen. It’s hard to argue with their selections, though, as each of them made sense as targets, especially in terms of their value.

Before the NFL Draft, Giants general manager Dave Gettleman admitted that there is a greater unknown with Day 3 prospects this year due to limited access to them amid the pandemic.
So the Giants enter the final day of the draft with only three more picks fourth round, and two in the sixth round and there shouldn’t be an expectation that they’ll make any moves to add more draft picks.

A few days ago, we discussed the biggest offensive sleepers in the draft, which you can check out here. It is now time to take a closer look at the defensive side of the ball. With the Steelers expected to fill the major holes on offense in the early rounds of the draft, it will be key for the Steelers to find a few gems on day three to bolster the depth on defense.
Being able to retain Tyson Alualu and Vince Williams was huge, but depth is still lacking at outside linebacker, cornerback, and safety. After losing Sean Davis and choosing not to sign Karl Joseph, the Steelers will likely be taking a close look at safeties on day three. It is believed that Cameron Sutton will become a boundary cornerback this season, but that leaves a hole at the nickel cornerback position. Cornerback is probably the most likely defensive position they take in the first two days, while addressing edge rusher will likely have to wait until day thr
