The Giants came into the NFL Draft with two obvious needs: Edge rusher and offensive line. Two of their stronger position groups: Wide receiver and cornerback.
Fittingly, the Giants drafted one edge rusher, wide receiver and cornerback through three rounds, and no offensive linemen. It’s hard to argue with their selections, though, as each of them made sense as targets, especially in terms of their value.

Before the NFL Draft, Giants general manager Dave Gettleman admitted that there is a greater unknown with Day 3 prospects this year due to limited access to them amid the pandemic.
