According to investigators, the victim happened to be outside of his car, standing by the trunk. It looked like he was removing something when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver who hit him took off. It happened about 1 20 this morning. The victim, a 60yearold man, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital. Either the victim or witnesses gave the nypd a description of the suspects vehicle, and quite quickly cops tracked down and spotted that damaged car you see there on the Upper West Side in the 70s and west end avenue. There were two men who were in that car. They were taken into custody and were waiting to find out what charges they face.
