The Good Morning Britain presenter has revealed that a member of the Royal family reached out to her, saying that it felt utterly surreal.
Garraway said she received a letter from one of the Royals, who offered the assistance of their physician to help with Derek s recovery.
The 53-year-old didn t name which Royal wrote to her, however, she wrote about it in her memoir, Kate Garraway: The Power Of Hope, which is being serialised in the Mail on Sunday.

The star also likened it to bringing home a newborn baby, saying that after extensive planning she asked herself what the heck do we do now?
