Kate Garraway shows changes made to her home for husband Derek Draper

Kate, 53, has 'spent thousands' adapting the family home so Derek can receive round-the-clock care
Amongst other changes, the star has added a wet room, wheelchair lift and alarm system for Derek to use
Kate has converted the ground floor lounge into his new bedroom, which has been fitted with a hospital bed
Derek returned to their North London house by ambulance last Wednesday   
Earlier this week, Kate said that it has been 'completely overwhelming but also wonderful' having Derek back 
The star also likened it to bringing home a newborn baby, saying that after extensive planning she asked herself 'what the heck do we do now?'
