DAYTON, Nev. Fredrik Nilehn, Lubbock, Tex., fired a final round 9-under par 63 to finish as low qualifier at 16-under 272 for the tournament and lead a group of 21 qualifiers who advance from Stage One Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying at Dayton Valley Golf Club.
“Ten out of 10,” Bayley said of the pain of a dislocated shoulder. “I would describe it as excruciating. It’s happened so many times over the last three years, it still really really hurts. I just have to move my arm to get it back into place. I don’t have a certain technique; I just basically scream and moan until I get it back in.”
“It’s just a journey for me,” Grove said. “This wasn’t the beginning, or the end, it’s all a process, and it’s all part of the journey, really. And I learned a lot, and it was definitely a great experience, and I know what to expect now, I know what I need to work on in my game … it’s been an awesome, awesome week.”
