The family of Taderrius Quentez Smith disputes the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's account that he had a gun and pointed it at authorities when he was fatally shot last week.
Family members of a man fatally shot by a Jefferson County sheriff’s deputy say they believe he was wrongly killed and are asking for help with his burial. Tedarrius Quentez Smith, 28, died Monday in what authorities say was an armed confrontation following a police chase from Fairfield to Birmingham.
In the shocking incident which happened just before 8am on Wednesday, the three-year-old took the gun and killed their mother, Cora Lyn Bush at their home in Spartanburg, pictured.
