Family members of a man fatally shot by a Jefferson County sheriff’s deputy say they believe he was wrongly killed and are asking for help with his burial. Tedarrius Quentez Smith, 28, died Monday in what authorities say was an armed confrontation following a police chase from Fairfield to Birmingham.
