UOB Thailand enhances its complimentary virtual training sessions to help

UOB Thailand has enhanced its complimentary virtual training sessions to help more small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) gain the necessary know-how to tap digital solutions to overcome COVID-19 challenges. These sessions, will be held alongside the Smart Business Transformation Programme (SBTP), an initiative by The FinLab and UOB Thailand, are part of the bank s initiative to support businesses digitalise. Open to all SMEs, the complimentary virtual training sessions comprise nine webinars from July to December 2021. The sessions include topics such as how to use data analytics to gain insights into consumers needs, to customise products and to develop advertising campaigns. These advanced topics will help experienced business owners deepen their digital skillsets. In addition, SMEs will be able to enjoy free trials of digital solutions that can help them to streamline processes, to build their brand and to expand their customer base, in turn gaining new customers, reducing

State equips community enterprises The Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP) is helping underperforming community enterprises better compete in the market, equipping them with e-commerce know-how so they can survive the pandemic. A five-day online event starting on June 11 offers marketing training and consultancy, allowing participants to use the online channel to sell their products, according to DIP. The government wants to help community enterprises affected by the impact of Covid-19 save their businesses, said Passakorn Chairat, deputy chief of DIP. He said this virtual event is expected to host 140 community enterprise participants from various industrial segments, including clothing and apparel, herbs, consumer products, food and beverage, and furniture.
